Project Description
For this project, we have the 3D scanning, the drafting and the structural calculation work taken for parts of the Augsburg Theatre. The aim of the scan was to capture the existing situation digitally with extreme accuracy, so that adjustments and new construction parts could be designed and fitted precisely.
Using Advanced 3D scanning technology have we measured the complete relevant construction and converted it into a detailed Point cloud to 3D model. Based on this data, our engineering team has analysed and translated the existing geometry into accurate CAD drawings and technical models.
Next, the necessary structural calculations carried out to check if the new or modified parts can be safely and appropriately used according to current standards. Through this combination of Scanwerk, engineering and calculation a reliable digital foundation is created upon which further production and assembly can perfectly connect.
Thanks to this approach, complex renovation and restoration projects, such as at the Augsburg Theatre, can be efficiently prepared with maximum accuracy and minimal surprises during execution in the Workshop.
