Project Description
For this project, we were responsible for the complete overhaul of the rotors of an industrial shredder. The wear was significant, putting both the performance and reliability of the plant under strain. We fully dismantled the rotors, inspected them thoroughly, and fitted them with new wear parts. Where necessary, shafts were repaired, tolerances readjusted, and balancing corrections were carried out for smooth operation. Following reassembly, the entire drivetrain was tested and optimised. Thanks to this overhaul, the shredder is once again running at maximum capacity, with longer service life and minimal downtime. A sustainable result that leaves the plant ready for intensive use in the coming years.
